VIDEO: RTL - Punkt 12

TRANSLATION

Actually it's astonishing, although Tokio Hotel has been existing since 2001, the band has never been in the city, from which they have their name. Now the four guys have traveld for the first time to Tokyo. Nevertheless the whole thing was almost a home-match. How the fans welcomed their idols in perfect German and how funny Bill and Tom's answer sounded, Claudia Wolfgram about Tokio Hotel in Tokyo...
Speaker: Ah yes, it's not easy on the other side of the world. Thereby everything was as usual as always at the arrival of Tokio Hotel. For the first time the band traveled to the name-giving city, although they have dreamed of working there since their beginning.
Bill: We will drive now to the embassy. We have been invited and we want to thank them and stop there for a moment to see, what will happen.
Speaker: Invited as young-ambassadors in celebration of 150-years of German-Japanese friendship, the four also used the trip as a preparation for a Japan-tour. Not only the fan-hype was breathtaking.
Bill: As we drove along and looked out it was so...
Bill & Tom: ...colorful.
Bill: And a lot going on,
Speaker: And even so far they don't know each other, there is some kind of connection between Tokio Hotel and Tokyo.
Bill: Somehow the city has so much energy.
Tom: Yes, I feel the same.
Bill: Such a positive [energy]...
Tom: In any case so positive, I would like to say. Before I arrived here, I had bad dreams. Since I have been here, I also dream a lot, but...
Bill: ...but no bad things.
Tom: ...only positive things.
Speaker: Also a reason, why the four feel being at home.
Bill: Cheers to Tokio Hotel in a Tokyo Hotel.
Speaker: Yes, that's the way love goes, mostly through the stomach...
Bill: I love this little...what's their name?
Tom: Sheet ropes.
Bill: The sheet ropes, exactly. They are good salted. I could eat them in bucketfuls.
Speaker: Now it's enough eating, the next appointment is waiting.
Georg: I guess, I don't know any other band, who work so hard.
Speaker: At least the four have worked on their pronunciation.
*Bill speaks Japanese*
All: "We are Tokio Hotel!"
Speaker: As if anyone wouldn't know this here already...
