NOTICE: Charity Auction - Queensland Flood Relief Appeal.

I’m sure you’ve all seen the news about the floods in Queensland, and how devastating they’ve been. We’ve also seen a lot of you guys not sure how to help. For this reason Tokio Hotel New Zealand and Tokio Hotel Australia have collaborated to get some TH Merch together to auction off, all the proceeds of which will go to the Queensland Flood Relief Appeal.

Up for grabs is the Humanoid City Live DVD and THTV Caught On Camera DVD both signed by the band!

So please, put in a bid if you can, and even if you don’t win one of the auctions you can still donate HERE. Even just $1 will help.

NOTICE: Tokio Hotel contributes to new book for DAA and charity auction

NGO Designers against AIDS (DAA) is a cause close to the hearts of the boys of Tokio Hotel: they took part in their Fashion against AIDS campaign (with H&M) in May 2009 and organized a fundraiser for the organization in December of last year, to support the new DAA Education Center. Now, Bill & Tom contributed three photos to the first book by DAA called „The First Decade“. [available from early November on at ludion.be, amazon.com etc.]

Bill and Tom Kaulitz also handsigned one of the 3 shots which will be up for auction tonight [October 29] from 6 PM at Campo & Campo, Grote Steenweg 19-21 in 2600 Berchem (a suburb of Antwerp), Belgium, together with over 40 other photos and other artworks from the book. All proceeds of this sale will benefit the DAA Education Center. People who can’t be at the auction house that evening can also bid by phone.

NOTICE: Bill Kaulitz doll was auctioned on eBay!

A doll much like Bill Kaulitz was auctioned on eBay for a total of 690 euros. The replica of the singer of German band Tokio Hotel was created by a Spanish artist who calls himself Sheryl Designs.

The doll in question is a real craft. The piece features shirts, suits, pants and accessories such as boots, shoes and wristbands, all reproduce the German singer's extravagant look.

The miniature figurine caused a stir since his creative auction on eBay, with bids that reached 690 euros.

Q&A with Tom Kaulitz

What would somebody have to give to you, so that you wear Bill’s clothes once?
Well, I can imagine something with Angelina Jolie. No, nonsense. I would never wear Bill’s clothes, and to be honest, I don’t think anyone would like to see me like that.

If you’d have a girlfriend, would you hide that from the press, or would you admit it openly?
But I always talk about my girlfriends. I have one or two now and then. But it doesn't really last longer than one day.

Do your friends and family have nothing to say about you talking about sex all the time, and about the fact that you’re sleeping with groupies?
Why should they? Other parents would like for their children to talk about it. And this way I don’t have to lie.

How can someone provoke you? What gets on your nerves most?
I’m not that easy to provoke. I think that there’s only one person who can really do that. This person is 10 minutes younger than me, and his name starts with B. I can’t say how he sees this.

How many guitars do you have? Do you name them?
I don’t really know how many there are… I think there are about 20 and I don’t give them names. But Georg calls his base “Mr. Sandberg”. It’s his only friend anyway. (He’s crazy)

You said that you and Bill often have the same dreams. Which was the most embarrassing/beautiful/strange dream you ever had?
I think this is the first question I don’t really have an answer for. And that’s because I always forget about what I dream.

What was the most sordid lie you’ve ever invented?
I never lie! I hope everyone knows that!

Do you like to remember about school, about school trips and so on? If so you, what did you especially liked then?
There was only one school trip I went to. I pretended to be sick for the others. I don’t really like to remember about school. I hated it! School trips were a change to the awful everyday school-life. You could have many girlfriends there, that’s the only positive thing I can remember.

Do you have any habits (do you speak while sleeping for example)?
Maybe I do speak while sleeping. I can’t really tell… You should ask the others about it. Otherwise I like leaving things behind in different places, and things which remain there for good.

Is there still a dream you would like to come true or are you perfectly happy?
I’m really happy…Whenever I express some dreams they probably sound stupid, but I wish to be as successful as now for as long as possible, and to see as many countries as possible together with my boys.

What goes to your mind during concerts when you make such grimaces?
Grimaces? I think that, if you play music and you are in your element, you don’t have your face expressions under control. You don’t think of anything… You just play!

On how he would create a romantic date: I would just try to be who I am and not put on any fancy cloths to impress the girl. I mean obviously I am very happy if a girl dresses up for me but I also don’t want her to pretend to be someone she’s not.

To create a romantic mood, I would take her out to a beautiful restaurant. Well, now that I think about it, I would probably prepare a meal myself - that’s more intimate. It might taste better in a restaurant but my pasta is definitely also worth a try!
