One would think that a band named Tokio Hotel would have been to Tokyo, Japan at least a million times. But that is not the case for the German band from Magdeburg. Although Tokyo—spelled Tokio in German—or rather the idea of Tokyo was at least partly the inspiration behind the band's name, up until yesterday the boys from Tokio Hotel had never stepped not even a toe in the land of the rising Sun.
