Yesterday at the "Palacio de los Deportes", audience comprising mostly of the younger generation, literally went mad at the presence of the German band, Tokio Hotel as they offered an hour and a half of their best musical performance.
Even before the show started, you could already see the enthusiasm that the band created on their fans, as hundreds of them camped out one day before at the "Dome of Copper", enduring the intense cold although most were adolescents .
Tokio Hotel were very puncture and at 21:00, the lights dimmed and loud screams was heard in the whole arena, which generated an even more acoustics sound.
"Noise" and "Human connect to human" were the hits that started off the evening, and at the end of the second song, the pit looked like a battlefield between so many girls wanting to be closer to their idols and leaving some people in the front row exhausted from the pushing and shoving.
"Mexico City! Hello everyone (...) Yesterday we went to the Pyramids and it was amazing, our guide told us he felt that this would be the best show in our history," expressed Bill Kaulitz.
Then came the moment of confusion in which the teenage battlefield fought their most bitter struggle. Bill and Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer realized the war raging between their fans and without saying a word, they left the stage halfway through the song "World behind my wall."
"They ordered the fans to all take a step back as they were crushing the people in the front," a voice was heard saying into the microphone, while security staff threw bottles of water to the unfortunate who were in the front row of the venue.
After 20 minutes of rest and after several girls regained consciousness, aided by medical staff, the show continued, but not before an apology from the band, who explained that it was just for the security of their fans.
The band continued the show with "Hey You," "Alien" and "Ready, set, go!" as the fans remained calmer and quieter after the incident.
It was time for an acoustic set by the Germans, where they performed "Humanoid", one of the most anticipated songs of the night.
"Shadow", "Automatic" and "Screamin '" was also part of the setlist, in which the fans never ceased to encourage Tokio Hotel by their screams.
After a short break, the band returned with "Zoom", "Monsoon" and "Forever Now" to end the battle fought between the fans at the Palacio de los Deportes and finally end the show.
