For the two it is their first time, but many of their national and international colleagues have already done this: Bill and Tom Kaulitz, the twins of »Tokio Hotel« have used themselves for a campaign for an animal rights organization PETA. Their aim: A ban on the use of circus animals. »Slaves of the entertainment industry: Wild animals out of the circus!« - with this slogan, the musicians pull in the fight against the exploitation of animals for entertainment purposes.
For that, the 21-year-olds even went for a day in the roles of the animals. Chained up and with lots of smeared fake blood, the twins were photographed in a dark atmosphere. »You only have time to imagine that animals are kept all their lives like that!« said Singer Bill Kaulitz to PETA. Animal welfare for the boys of »Tokio Hotel« is no stranger: Both Bill and Tom are exclusively vegetarians.
