Bill (21) and Tom Kaulitz (21) of Germany’s most successful international rock band “Tokio Hotel” are leaving Germany and moving to the USA!
As BILD found out, the famous twins will be moving to Los Angeles in autumn. Together with their manager and producer David Jost, who has been living in Beverly Hills over a year now, they would want to write new songs.
David Jost confirmed to BILD: “Yes, Bill and Tom will move to Los Angeles, but they will continue maintain their residence in Germany. Moving to LA is scheduled for mid November.”
Their band mates, Georg (23) and Gustav (22) will stay in Germany because they have girlfriends. Friends of the band said that besides their planned work in the recording studio in LA, the constant stalking by the stalker gangs and the break-in into their home in Hamburg are other reasons for the move to the USA.
But it won’t be much quieter for the twins in Los Angeles. The collection of stars is nowhere greater than in Hollywood, Bill and Tom have always been chased by paparazzi in LA.
As up to date, Tokio Hotel has sold more than eight million records worldwide. With their new DVD and live album “Humanoid City”, Tokio Hotel has reached the top 5 charts in over 15 countries. In Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, France and Switzerland, the band rose to the number 1 spot on the charts this year. In Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Belgium, they occupied the second place.
