Some lucky fans got to place Tokio Hotel’s star into the Oberhausen “Walk of Fame.” How cool is it that the boys are getting honoured at the city they filmed their German Live DVDs at?
In February Tokio Hotel received a star on the Walk of Fame from the Oberhausener König-Pilsener Arena. Now, fans were allowed to place the award of honor in front of the venue: Tatiana, Darleen, Hanna and Iszy are the four lucky ones, chosen from hundreds of supporters.
Tatjana from Recklinghausen had camped before the concert in February a few nights with her friends Iszy and Hanna in a tent, to experience Tokio Hotel from the front row. The 16-year-old was pleased with the action: “We had never expected, that we would be able to hold the “Walk Of Fame” from our favorite band in our hands. So the shivering in February paid off twice. We hope to see Gustav, Bill, Tom and Georg live in Oberhausen soon.”
With the “Walk of Fame”, which runs from the box offices of the Arena Plaza to the main entrance of the hall, the König-Pilsener-Arena honors artists, who celebrated “outstanding achievements” in the venue. So far immortalized on the Walk of Fame are Paul McCartney, David Copperfield, Santana, Kylie Minogue, Joe Cocker and Pink.
